Being a fan of the movie (havn't gotten to see the second one yet), and the serries, I just had to pick this game up. I almost never buy a game before renting, but Blockbuster didn't have it, and I was desperate to play it.
I went through the training first to get used to the controls. It runs you through all of the basic stuff. You probably shouldn't play before doing the training.
You can do all of the things from the serries. Hack into people's brains, jump high off of walls, ect.
I started the game in easy mode. Was fun. Sneaking around :ninja: , beating up or shooting guards. It's easy at first, but you start to encounter more and more guards. Not that hard to pick of most of the guards. Find some boxes to stand on so you can take them out sniper style. It's alot more fun to beat them to death though. You only get 2 chances to hack into people's brain in the first mission. Some random dude with a gun to take out other guards, and then a sniper to kill other snipers. The hardest parts of this mission is jumping from bride to bridge without falling, and shooting down these anoying little robot helicopters. After you get used to aiming though, they're not hard at all to shoot down.
So even on easy mode, this game is somewhat difficult. The first mission took me 1 hour and 23 minutes to beat. I could probably beat it in around 40 minutes now though.
It's a really great game so far. I'm probably gonna restart my game in hard mode.
The chance of you liking this game depends on your skill level. If your a n00b gamer, or just play every once and awile, this is probably not the game for you. If you play alot, or are a hardcore gamer (myself), then you'll fall in love with this game.
I personally give this game an A+, but you may not think the same if you havn't seen the serries or movie or...ahem...suck at video games :p
