Looking to get a new computer, but don't want to build. What would you all suggest? I'm considering Alien Ware.
Keep in mind I said no building.

It's a gift for my 18th b-day. Go nuts.

I could think of lots of better things for your 18th birthday than a computer, but...

I would aim for anything with at least a 3200 mhz processor, preferrably an Athlon 64 (w00t!) or XP. Other than that, 512 should be your minimum for RAM and you'll want at least 120 gigs of space.

Definitely get a Falcon Northwest...

With a giant URC logo airbrushed on the side. ^_^

If this helps at all, it's gonna mainly be used to gaming and video editing.

Well, you're torn between 2 platforms then :p
For video editing, the pentium 4 processors have always been faster because of their pseudo "multi-processing" hyper threading technology.

On the other hand, the shorter pipelines and faster math processing of AMD's Athlons leaves Intel in their wake in a gaming environment with lower clocked but faster processors. However, Athlon64's are catching the competitors quickly in video editing and content creation, so that might be ur best bet.

Hope this helps
