my hotmail wont open!!!

ok i am starting to get pissed off, my hotmail account will not open after i put in my username and passward. it just sits with a blank white page not loading or anything, i think it is a virus or somthing on my computer. i have mcAfee 2005 antispyware and norton anti virus 2003 (ya i need to upgrade that)

also what would be easier:
1) erase all files and reinstall windows XP
2) find and remove all viruses, spyware, and adware

The only thing that won't open is hotmail right? I doubt it would be some virus but I could be wrong. It might just be hotmail was having problems..although I haven't had any with mine.

well anything that is connected with msn (msn photos, ect)
wont work.

also i am having a problem with street legal racing redline demo, it opens and when i go to load up the car lot to buy a car it shuts down my computer but before this happens this blue screen comes up
