Ok so I got the little pop up of the new aim so I was like what the heck lets try it out, so I download it all goes well, then I go to IM somone, and it says it encountered a problem and needs to close.. so I was like hmph, ok try it again, sign back on and same thing happens again, So I deleted 5.9 (?) and downlaoded 5.5 and like 3 other versions and had the same problem.. anyone know how to fix this its rather annoying.

not sure what I did but it works now.. I think it fixed itself..

my AIM always gives me tons of pop ups whenever i sign on, can anyone tell me what to do about that?

check for spyware and adware

i have, many times and stuff shows up. later when i do a search again its back.

Let me guess your using windows and aim crashed.
