I need help. whenever i open IE, it takes 20 seconds for the window to open. (Actualy timed it) Other than that, the computer is fine, its fast and all. I have ad-aware so its not the spyware. Someone please help!
Try switching to Firefox.

For about a month, I had the exact same problem. I never found a solution, but it frustrated me a lot. The problem just kinda fixed itself (maybe a Microsoft update).

I use firefox and it never gives me a problem - actually it gives me money.

the programs i use are spybot, spyblaster, and firefox. they work and if u use them in that order u clean ur system, nitpick the problem, and firefox doesnt allow the update information to reinstall itself.
