Who here uses Apple computers?
They're so superior in so many ways. Of course, there are negatives, like lack of software support, but that doesn't concern me.
Apple haters, feel free to post, but I want to hear good reasons!

I don't hate them but i guess it kinda sucks that all the games you got is Unreal Tournament 2004 and maybe a couple others thats why XP stands for Xtra Power!!!

When they release OS X for pc's I'll start using apple products....but for now they just cost too much since you have to buy a Mac from Apple.

I use a G5 at work.. Pretty nice dual processor system, real quick. I approve! :-P

Yes but both the processors are slow to make a faster processor.
Too slow (sorry, but every G4 I've run has been slower than either of my crappy computers), software support is awful, and I don't really like the GUI...OS X is annoying and eats up system resources. The one thing I can say I like about the OS is that it's UNIX based, so I can deal with a lot of it through the Terminal program. The fact that the monitor is built into the computer itself annoys the hell out of me too...I regularly blow up monitors (expensive ones, too) and I don't want my computer to be gone while they fix it. Plus it's difficult to adjust viewing angles (although on anything but an eMac, I guess this isn't a problem.) I also hate slot-loading drives with a passion. They break. A lot. Especially on the earlier iMacs.
Not to mention I feel like I've lost an arm with a one button mouse. At least that can be rectified.
Any day, though, give me an Athlon64 dual-boot XP Pro/Linux system and I will proceed to spank your Mac. Everyday.

I have to argue with you about them being slow. Even with the processor-intentive GUI (which is beautiful in every way), it runs faster than any computer I've ever used. Then again, I've never really used anything over 1 Ghz, but the Mac seems plenty fast to me. Not to mention its stability and ease of use.
And Marcus, you know I too would prefer a Athlon64 computer anyday. I'm not anti-Windows or anti-Linux, I'm just pro-everything.

Apples rule. i'm using a G4 right now!!!!!No pcs in this family ever!!. Macs will never stop getting better.
the only thing i dont like about an out of the box mac is how theres no right click but they are good computers,
ps: IPODS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(20GB)
I love Apples. I think I'd rather use my dad's old iBook than any PC-- I love Mac OS X. Everything is so easy and integrated. :D Right now I'm using our Power Mac G4 733 mhz. It's plenty fast. My mom's Powerbook G4 1.33 ghz is even better. :D
