I back up important stuff on a regular basis, but only about twice/year do I do a total backup of my entire data folder hierarchies. Today was the day, and here's what I've got:
Web stuff - 4 CD's
Photos & video - 11 CD's full to the brim
Music - 5 CD's
Misc - 2 CD's
I think next year I'm going to have to switch to DVD-R

But DVD-R's are so expensive!
CD-R's will do for me:D
You have to switch to DVD-R's. My dad uses them and they hold so much stuff. Well worth it.
I just bought a Sony DVD-R/W DL drive and it's great. I never realized that a dual layer DVD could hold so much. Regular DVD-Rs can hold 4.7gigs, but the dual layer DVD-Rs can hold 8.5gigs! Heck, I can back up my entire computer in only 14 disks!
