monitor goes blank for a second?

ok my computer (almost 1 yr old dell) is starting to have the screen go black for a second every like 5 min and its really annoying me when i play battlefield and such. has anyone else had this problem? is there anyway to fix it?

oh joy!!! now one of my speakers just stoped working!!!

mmm, i think you should call dell before tampering with it and see what they say

ya i will have my mom (she bought the computer) to phone dell about the speaker but the monitor i think is just in a program or a setting on the computer

My parents have a Dell PC, and they had the same problem you are having with your monitor. Call Dell and have them send you a new monitor. Hopefully, it's still under warranty.
