Um i dont know a shooting game thats free but i do play counterstrike but u need a cd-key. THat comes with the game so u need cash lol. Umm besides that i dont know any other decent shooting games.

get counter-strike its great worth the 20-30 dollars, plus u can download many good half-life mods and use them with the counter-strike cd key: Day of Defeat, Firearms, Natural Selection, digital paintball all very fun games.

dude, go to www.microsoft.com and download the free halo trial. its soooooooo groovy. one of the first trials i have found that you can mod. it is actualy that good that i bought the game the next day!

I got a copy of half like for 2 bucks on ebay, and got my cd key there, most cd keys are only like 10 on ebay though, and they actually work. Also, I've heard, its very easy to "Aquire" them from best buy....lol ;-)

battlefield viatnam looks good but i cant find a demo
battlefield 1942 secret weapons of WWII is a good demo and it is multiplayer and has snipers machine guns rocket planes a small jet plane, jeeps, swimwagons (vw bug but amfibius) tanks (panzer VI and shermans) and alot more in the complete game but in order to play the full game (the one you buy) you need the 2 previus battlefield games (there expansions)

I was literaly just playing battlefield vietnam, it is sooooo good. you can be the Americans if you want but you can also be the vietnamese.

get the half life platinum collection i got at wallmart for 39.99
its worth it you get half life, team fortress, half life blue shift, opposing force, and counter strike thats 5 cool games thats like less than 10bucks a game

I love unreal and battle field and the two can't really be compaired considering unreal is just like the name says it's unreal and battlefield is more of a simulation.
