1.6 was ok but i highly suggest buying regular half life for like 15 bucks and you can just download counterstrike. half life has so many mods that once you get tired of CS you can play team fortress or half-life online. theres tons of other mods to it too. if you get serious with CS(which almost everyone does) download steam. that just makes the game run smoother and the graphics better.
