I have played it and saw where they were planning on releasing another version. Its a great game, I didn't buy it though I went with Project Gotham Racing 2 because it was Xbox Live enabled. Otherwise if it wasn't, I would have definately chosen nfs over it.

NFS III is still my favourite, I don't like the more console oriente games they have come out with after NFS 2000. A lot of the fun for me is making things for the games, and the way they do things on the modern NFS's kinda defeats that, takes the fun out for me.
