help my mouse dont work

My mouse is not working so i had to tab my way here,it works fine for a min and stops whats up? PS and make it fast .

Are you using it on an extremely reflective surface, like glass? Otherwise, its probably just broken.

It works for a min or 2 and stops its not the mouse it self.

If it was working why would you hit it again? Well a better solution might have been opening it and maybe get some solder and solder the points back up if you don't want to buy a 15 dollar optical mouse.

Is it wireless? I have a wireless optical, and the batteries run out all the time and it stops working.

After beating on it with a hammer for 30 minutes, I can just see the shock on his/her face when s/he realizes that it was just out of batteries!
