I played the original C&C a little, and Red Alert 1 and 2 alot.

Civ 3 is my favorite game of all time.

I had the battle chest or whatever of the original C&C, the original Red Alert, and all of the expansions for both. Great games.:)

I hate those little terror drones when they aren't on your side. Especially if you dont have any tanks that kill them without you telling them too.

The real bomb was dropped when EA bought westwood and made the game all new age. My favorite part about the C&C games was the 2D graphics. Generals is real 3D that lets you zoom in, nice for the future, bad for fans that loved the way the games were made. Another great part about the old ones are how easily the game was edited. A while ago I made a "real war" config that made tanks die in 1 hit with other tanks and V2s carry nuke warheads. That's what I have now, the V3 missle launches straight up after a 20 second animation of the rocket tilting, which then fires a nuclear warhead 1/4 of the map. Good fun. I also enjoy making any machine gun fire constant, not in bursts.

Red alert retailiation was my favorite, I have it on the PS and play it all the time.

EA owned Westwood before Generals. RA2 was definitly an EA game. I wouldn't blame them.
