I just found this on AE's site in the B4 Talk forum:

"Q: On pg 11 of the manual it says, "racers tip: use green slime instead of oil". I've done that but the B4 tends to bounce more now. (i used the oil first). How do i stop the bouncing? Or have i done it wrong.. Do i still need to use oil? is the green slime just for fitting the seals?

A: Use Green Slime only to coat the inner shock seal parts. Do not fill the shock with Green Slime. Fill th shock with regular oil."

Filled shocks with Green Slime?! I wonder how many of the little packets he bought! Or perhaps he just divided the contents of one between all four shocks? Either way, wow!

Well, in fairness to AE, the tip does refer specifically to the pre-oiling of the shock shaft. The actual filling of the shock is separate and shows specifically to use oil.
