Does anyone play this game? I've been at it since a few years ago when it was freeware, and I recently acquired the new TOS: Warring Suns CD version.
If you havent' played, it's a turn-based tactical based 'mech game, with character (a "Jock") level up features (improve the Jock's skills, control more powerful 'mech chassis). Basically, it's a tactical game where you can build a squad of 'mechs or just choose from the hunders of pre-built configs and create the Jocks to pilot them. It's kinda hard to figure out at first, but once you learn the ropes, you'll be hooked. Autocannons, LRMs, energy weapons/lasers, guided missiles, nuetron guns, plus may different mech parts and equipment make this game one fun tactical game. You can play "hotseat" on one computer and challenge your friends, or beat up the CPU along with them, or play via LAN or internet.
BTW, anyone try the new UT2k4 demo? Man the vehicles are awesome (for a mainly FPS game)!!!!
