Hacked PS2?

When someone says they have a hacked PS2, whaat exactly does it mean?

There's a few different things. Some might say that after installing a mod chip, which allows them to play import games. I can't think of other examples right now.

They can have one of the chips installed so they can burn games and play them.

yeah, you can get a pop-top case, and the startup software, so you can play burned games... forget the url but I'll look. It's around 40$$

Thats true , but your ps2 warrenty is only good for I think a year . So if you plan on hacking it or modding it , do it after your warrenty expires. Just my 2 cents
