Just wondering: How is C&C: Generals? I will probably buy it once I get a new computer.
I have regular Generals (without the Zero Hour add-on) and it's a lot of fun. Good gameplay, really good graphics for the scale it's laid out on, and fun. The single-player missions are too few, though (only 24 total). Thank goodness for Skirmish mode

I have both and Zero Hour is much much harder. I play it online and it is different than Generals, you can't get rank on the mod maps and i thinked it seamed to rum a little faster. The only thing you have to get used to is the different teams. Unlike regular Generals you have sub teams too, 3 for each team....GLA, China and USA. But you can still play the original teams. In the end it was a good buy.
So i am asuming that no one has had this same problem as me, ok.

Has anyone here followed the C&C world from the original C&C? I have not bought Zero Hour yet, it is about the only one I have not got. The game has come a long way from the original.. but I still think Red Alert and Red Alert 2 were the best so far that I have played.

Not that I'm bashing this game, but from my experience, most of their (Westwood) games (C&C and RA series and such) are the same thing rehashed with more bells and whistles and gimicks (familiar actors in CG /cut scene movies (Micheal Dorn in Emperor) and such). Heck just go buy Emperor: Battle for Dune, and you'll be surprised how similar the menus, units and "ally"/sub house system are to the other older games, except it is really pretty in 3-D. But hey, at least RA 2 kinda is fun (lamo' radar/los system in all their games). Never really got into Emperor for some reason (3D?).

I have RA2 and Both Generals. When playing RA2 the basic concept is to build as much as you can, but in Gererals there is much more stratagy involved. I personal think Generals is better. But I would not mind playing RA2 again.
Remember that crappy c&c they came out with that was an fps?

Renegade? I haven't played it but I thought it would be a good one. At least the gfx are all perdy I think. *cough*kaz*cough*

lol i have Renegade. It's an ok first shooter game, the only draw back is the story line is kinda short and boring. It is better in Multiplayer mode but if I were you (befor i bought it) I would not get it.
