What is the switch or whatever called that lets you use like 2 moniters and you can switch from moniter to moniter? Im looking at getting one for my new computer since I have a 2nd moniter available to use.

Thanks, Shawn

You should just get a dual-monitor video card like the GeForce's. They let you use both monitors in separate locations (each shows an identical view of the other) or you can put them next to eachother and use them as one huge screen, where you can drag things from one screen to the other seamlessly, etc.

Doh, To bad I ordered my computer like an hour ago... I got an ATI Radeon do they have that capability? Cause I like the idea of being able to use it like 1 screan.

Thanks, Shawn

Actually I think you're ok. I just did a quick check on ATI.com and it looks like their cards support dual monitors as well!

My Radeon 7500 does. If it's a 7500 or higher it supports two monitors...and mostly all their cards have s-video out so you can use a TV as a monitor.

I ordered the 9800 SE, Now will it automaticly act as 1 screen then? like I can scroll over to it? or do I need to program it to do that?

Thanks, Shawn

Not sure about ATI but on my GeForce you have to change the settings. I don't know what the standard ATI setting is though. Its usually not to hard to change the setup.

Yep from the display properties you can change how it acts to suit your liking.
