I have ME at home and don't have many problems with it. I did have a problem yesterday when I told it to hibernate and it decided to crash. I lost over half of my Networking+ key terms. Anyone here that has taken or is taking Networking nows how big a pain the key terms can be. Especially when you have 51 or so of 65 done when it goes kaput. Other than that I don't have many problems with it.

I also use XP when at school(such as now), and I love it. I plan on buging/beging my mom to buy it. I'd rather have Pro than Home, but they both work well enough for what I want. I'd rather just have a laptop that I could take to school, but that probably won't happen.:(

The company that my step-dad works for ran Windows ME on EMachines. When they had a problem, the guy they called in told them that their problems were running EMachines and running Windows ME. Windows ME is by far the buggiest Windows operating system PERIOD.

The first thing I did was turn off Hibernation.

I have been using ME since it first came out, my system is a DELL pentium 3 500mhz processor (ancient) with 640 ram, i barely have problems with Windows ME. I have been trying to convince my dad its time for him to upgrade his pent 4 desktop so i can get it but he isnt budging =/.

Well with my current computer i get all i need out of it, AIM, D2:LOD online, CS, and of course URC.

althought i wouldnt mind the 2 ghz for halo, and BF:1942

Windows ME crashed all the time for me. I like windows 2000, but the main reason is im to cheap to get XP. LOL, my old computer was windows 3.1, and the hardrive was like 700 mb

Im running XP home right now after over a year of hating the crap out of my old Hp which, surprise surprise, ran ME with whopping 256mb of ram and crashed about every five minutes for the last couple of months I owned it. It now sits dormant in my cabin in tahoe, just wishing someone would hook it up! HA! I bid it good luck, the whole family hates it. The computer I have right now is acually shared between me and my brother but im in the process of building a new one, I think I'll be running XP Pro on the new one.

Edit: The HP did work quite well for about a year or so before I started having problems with spyware and such.... That was before i had ever heard of Spybot S&D....
