All registered users of this system are required to thoroughly read and agree to abide by the rules stated here. We just want this place to be clean & fun for everyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------
THE RULES
You must be at least 13 years of age to sign up (federal COPPA law).
Anything you post must be "PG-13" (perfectly safe for kids 13 & older). If you're unsure if something is allowable, it probably isn't.
Don't create multiple accounts, or they'll all be deleted. If you have trouble with an account, contact us (http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sendmessage.php) for help.
Company reps cannot promote products or services unless explicitly signed on as an advertiser or site sponsor. For advertising info, click here (http://www.ultimaterc.com/advertising/).
If you sign up just to spam links to your own site, your account will be deleted without warning.Absolutely NO...
...sexually suggestive images
...cursing, even if you try to disguise it
...racist or intolerant remarks
...posts supporting drinking, drug use, or any illegal activities
...name-calling or personal attacks
..."greater than thou" or otherwise bad attitudes
...chain-posting (one message immediately after another in a thread... use EDIT)
...cross-posting (posting the same thing in multiple threads/forums)
...spam (unsolicited promotion of other sites), links with referral codes, or links to pages that require registration/login to view
...discussion of politics or religionAdmins & moderators reserve the right to edit, move, or delete any message or remove any flagrantly troublesome user in the interest of keeping the forums smooth-running and family-friendly.
GUIDELINES/ETTIQUITE
Please make sure your post is in an appropriate forum. The URC Network Forums contain areas for nearly every type of RC question, so if you are in a specific site and don't see an appropriate area, click the "Community Forums" link at the very top of the page to get a full listing.
If you post a message and then immediately decide you want to add something to it, use the "edit" button -- don't post another message.
Don't post just to bump up your post count. Post counts & titles mean very little. Useful, contributing members mean a lot!
Don't post in all capital letters, IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE SCREAMING, see what we mean?
Don't use the public message board for chatting directly with another specific individual -- keep 1-on-1 discussions to private messages (PM's), emails & IM's unless the discussion is useful for the rest of the community.
Out of courtesy to other members, please keep posted images 1024 pixels wide or less. If your pictures are larger than this, please post them as clickable text links.
You know how to spell the word "what," so don't write "wat." It's not cool. Seriously, it's not. "Can't" is not typed "kant." "I'm" has an apostrophe in it. The letter "I," when used to refer to one's self, is capitalized. Oh, and sentences have periods at the end of them!
Think before you click "Submit." Better yet, click "Preview Post" and actually try reading what you've written, and maybe even consider fixing it! Thanks!
