Metallica The Game

Anybody heard about Metallica the Game? If you stick the new St. Anger CD into a DVD player there is a preview for a Metallica game coming out in 2005. There's a semi truck in the flash animation...maybe it'll be like Twisted Metal?

I saw the preview, it looks cool. I think it will be like Twisted Metal.

its going to be some what like twisted metal, in that it will be an auto combat game, but whether it will actually be good or not is still up for grabs. on the next gen systems even as far as games have come it will be hard to beat tmb, i just wish they would make a vigilante 8 game for the ps2.

What does a "twisted metal" type game have to do with mettallica? Why would mettallica release a game like that?

There new bass player I think is actually better. By the way the bassist didnt leave, he got killed in a bus crash.

uhh they have had 3 bass players. the second one cliff burton left not to long ago, and is now playing for ozzy, thier new one, came from ozzy, and the first one died in a bus crash

by the way... uh... you don't know what you are tlaking about. but i won't hold it againts you too much. besides, MOST people on this forum are to young to know better anyway. and i said MOST... not all ;)

Cliff Burton died in the bus crash.

i forogot their last bassist name. but he left. and i don't like the bands STYLE with the new bassist. jsut doens't sound right to me. but hey, what do i know.

besides, i still don't think they have any business in a car demolition game. thats plain silly.

Jason Newstead currently plays for ozzy after leaving metallica several months ago.
I'll dig up info for sure as soon as I find that darn Bass Player...

sorry was a bit tired that day. wasnt thinking correctly you are correct. i really quit listening to them after black album came out. up till then they were using riffs written by dave mustane, which wasw really the only reason they had any good songs at all.

yeah, dave mustaine is quite the riffer. I really enjoy older megadeth as well. (countdown to extinction era)

i should also mention, i was correcting superpede, who seems to be still stuck in the blakc album. j/k, i do miss the stylings of dave, i hope he makes the recovery it appears he is making. i would love to see megadeth do at least one more album.
