i'm not a computer genious,and i need help.

ok...i have pics of my truck,and a scaner.i scanned the pics and they are on my computer(not on the internet)how can i get them on this site?try to make the explanetion simple,i know hardly anything about computers....:rolleyes: :confused: :p

You need to upload your pictures somewhere (you can't put them directly on URC). I recommend using www.rcpics.net. Just create an account, and use the upload link on the sidebar to upload your pictures.

ok,i created a profile on r/c pics.net.how do i get my pics to the site?

Open the picture you want to show. Now right click>>Properies>>Copy the address (URL). Now to insert the image, just right click in your message>>paste. It will automatically do the link.

when it's on the computer,not the internet?when it's in my scanning file,if i right click on it ,it doesn't do anything.....:o

On the left bar on Rcpics.net, there is an option called upload. Click it, and click browse. Find the picture that you uploaded from your scanner and click upload. After that, you should be able to figure it out.

C'mon Newbe, you know how to use the edit button! You're not a Newbe to this site anymore!:lol:

Anyway, you have to change the format of the pictures, preferibly jpeg. I don't know what format your scanner outputs, but it is obviously not compatible.

depending on the OS you have usually when you move an image file from a scanner folder it will automactically change the format.just pull up the image file and move the images to a new folder that you create!

double click the image it should bring you into a image editor of some sort click file go to save as and where it says format change it to jpeg

If you want that for your title, go post it in the Title Request thread. It's actually a decent title for you, and you might have a chance with it.

Don't copy the address from the address bar on your browser. Right-click on the pic, select "properties", and copy the address from there.

Then, when you are making a post, you can click the "IMG" button, and paste the address in.

If you just want to link to your RCpics.net page, you can use the address www.rcpics.net/member/thenewbe
