NVIDIA ION Case mod contest build

So a little news from my other hobby...

I am super very excited about being in the top 5 of the NVIDIA ION case mod design contest. I tried to bring my two hobbies together and here is the result.

My Ideas for an original PC case based around the ION platform will be built by a professional modder Brian Carter and featured in CPU Magazine. The top five will be voted on and the winner gets to keep the computer. TheJANG: Yes, I designed the case in SolidWorks and rendered it using PhotoView360. Im no artist but I gave it my best shot and Brian is doing an AMAZING job of taking my idea and bringing it to an entirely new level!

Zerohax369: The suspension works and I just got done making the legs which you can see on the forums. Were actually using the front shocks from a Duratrax Evader that were anodizing black. We were only given a $500 budget for building supplies, but it was suggested that we use servos to make it walk lol. Maybe next time.....;)

:o Amazing!! What kinds of components will be going in it, or is it just going to remain a case?

Zotac IONITX-D-E Mini-ITX motherboard, Corsair 64GB SSD and 4GB DDR2 RAM, Slim Blue-Ray drive and a 2.5" HDD hot swap drive bay. I don't have all the specifics but ill post them when I do. Its not going to be a gaming rig but it will be a nice small form factor media center.

All kidding aside Bill Owen did a very nice job with the cube. Granted access to a laser cutter and CNC equipment helps lol. I am buying the case from the builder so in the end im very happy with the final product.
