This came as a surprise to me. I once had a PSP Slim. The Slim really wasn't that slim though.

I guess we'll see how this reacts with the crowd and the DSI/DSI fans.

That is so freaking cool! I just may have to get one, my PSP 1000 died a while ago, this could be my new portable gaming device =]
Hehe, I had a DS then sold it and bought a PSP Slim and PS2 Slim then sold those both and bought a Rustler (one of the best decisions in my life).
The DS sure was a neat unit. I ended up buying the Opera optional web browser for it..then I god the PSP for posting on the Monster Traxxas boards and it was as slow as crackers so I sold it.
I've been looking more into getting a DSI lately due to the SD slot and build in web feature..I'll have to wait to read some reviews on this new "go". I assume it's just a smaller version of the PSP with a face lift and the same firmware glitzed up a bit.
Speaking of Sony, my uncle from San Fran just came over and gave us a brand new Sony home theater surround sound system just because he didn't have anough room so I'm pumped about this! It gives me an excuse to watch Star Wars for the first time.

Dude they released it quite a while ago but its almost time to hit shelves.
I wonder if it uses those expensive UMD disks, I hope it has an optional thing to rip games from them, and load them onto the PSPgo. Although I can't believe they called it that, the PSP2 would be better I think.

It no longer has a UMD drive rather it holds the game content on it's 16gb memory.
Nice! That's the best improvement IMO.

I think it's cool to look at and the improvements(I'm sure there are many amazingly great ones and not so good ones) are good but it doesn't seem worth it to me unless it's on the cheaper side(going along with inflation and all that economic stuff) the psp bundles were selling for.

I know! 16 gigs. I'm liking the Pirate Bay more and more everyday now. I wonder if the only way to get games will be via the computer?!
